This is a remote position; however, applicants must be based in Egypt.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master with a solid background in both business and technology to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting Agile values, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement across one or more Scrum teams. This role requires strong facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills to help teams stay focused, remove impediments, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more agile teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives)

  • Coach team members on Agile principles, values, and best practices to foster a high-performing Agile mindset.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for sprints.

  • Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress, working proactively to resolve issues.

  • Shield the team from external disruptions and distractions to maintain focus on sprint commitments.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging reflection and adaptation through retrospectives and feedback loops.

  • Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and principles across the team and the organization.

  • Facilitate collaboration between teams and stakeholders

  • Track, analyze, and report on key Agile performance metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, cycle time).

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role

  • Demonstrated ability to work across both technical and business environments, acting as a bridge between teams and stakeholders (tech and non-tech)

  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and modern delivery methodologies

  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps

  • Experience with remote/distributed teams

  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, or software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
