Senior Product Owner – Fintech & Payment Integration

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner who will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our fintech and payment integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in product ownership or management, with a strong background in fintech, particularly in payment gateway integrations, accounting system integration, and financial compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, user needs, and technology trends to ensure seamless payment solutions within our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product roadmap for payment integrations, accounting system connections, and financial workflows.

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirement gathering to release and post-launch analysis.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, business, and compliance teams to deliver best-in-class financial products.

• Identify customer pain points and opportunities in payment processing, reconciliation, and financial management.

• Work with third-party payment processors and accounting software providers to ensure smooth integrations.

• Develop and maintain detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data security, and best practices in fintech.

• Analyze product performance using KPIs and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.

• Act as a subject matter expert on payment flows, transaction security, invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging financial technologies.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a fintech-related domain.

• Strong experience with payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, etc.) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Sage).

• Solid knowledge of financial workflows, invoicing, reconciliation, and compliance standards.

• Experience working with API-based financial integrations and third-party fintech services.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in product analytics, data-driven decision-making, and performance tracking.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, ClickUp)

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex financial concepts into simple, actionable product decisions.

• A background in accounting or finance is highly desirable.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
