Job Summary:
As a product designer, you will enjoy a good degree of creative freedom while welcoming feedback from stakeholders and collaborating with them to make acceptable solutions. The person will be at the forefront of defining the experience, look and feel of the company; product and marketing wise.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
  • Prepare UX research for new or existing features.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developers.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Evaluate user feedback.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.

Job requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a design role, designing across both web and mobile, following their native experiences and guidelines (Tablets, Android and iOS).
  • Experience wireframing and designing with an ability to communicate ideas visually.
  • Experience working across multiple touch points, including brand, digital, and print.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable with remote teams.
  • Proficiency in interaction design for native mobile and web applications
  • Proficiency with current industry design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, XD, etc.
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines.
  • Experience working in agile product development is a plus.
  • An ability to problem-solve, anticipate challenges, and propose better ways of building the product marketing.
  • A multi-disciplinary designer with foundations in brand & graphic design.
  • Passionate about design for digital mediums, with experience in UX design.
  • Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
